Is this the right file for you?

Yes, if you are in one of five countries and old enough.

Check three things before you download anything. All three have to be true for the app to work on your phone.

You are in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Liberia or Namibia.

Your phone runs Android 7.0 or newer.

You are 18 or older. In Namibia the limit is 21.

The same file works in all five countries without any change. You pick your country when you register. Your currency and your payment list follow from that one choice. Nothing here asks for a card number or a password. You do not need an account of any kind to read this page.

At a glance

PremierBet+ 1.1.2. 56.7 MB. Android 7.0 and up.

Here are the file details in a single table, so you can check your phone against them before spending any data on the download. Every line below comes either from the operator’s own country pages or from the installation file we downloaded and read, and nothing in it has been rounded or guessed.

The operator has run betting shops in Africa since 1997 and says it now reaches 25 countries on the continent. In Namibia the brand is written on the site as Premier Bet Namibian Totes, which is a nod to the tote licence there. The name of the app stays PremierBet+ in all five countries, so you are looking for the same thing everywhere.

Pick your country

Five countries share one file, and you choose yours inside the app.

Five countries share this one file between them. Your choice of country sets four things. It fixes your currency, your age limit, your welcome offer and your payout cap.

Malawi
MWK 100% up to 50,000 MWK
Zimbabwe
$ Welcome package, amount in app
Tanzania
TSH Welcome package, amount in app
Liberia
LRD Up to 5,000 LRD on deposit one
Namibia
N$ Welcome package, amount in app

Malawi and Liberia are the only two countries where the operator prints an exact welcome amount in public. For Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Namibia the figure only appears in the app once you have chosen your country. We leave those three blank here rather than guess a number nobody published.

LiberiaLRD18+40,000,000 LRD500 LRD a week
NamibiaN$21+N$1,000,000N$30 a week

Top payout is the ceiling on what a single bet can return to you, and it is written into the terms for each country. Malawi sets the smallest stake in the group. You can bet from 44 MWK per selection. The free bet in the last column comes from the Bet 5 Get 1 Free promotion, which runs weekly in all five markets.

Download and install

Allow unknown apps once, then download the file and tap it to install.

Four steps take you from an empty phone to a working app, and none of them require a computer, a cable or any technical knowledge. The whole run takes about three minutes on a normal mobile connection, and most of that is the download itself rather than anything you have to do.

Open Settings on your phone

Go to Settings and open the Security section on your phone. Find the line called Unknown sources. Stop there before you change anything else on the phone. On Android 8 and newer the same setting has moved under Apps, where it is called Install unknown apps.

Android settings screen with the security section open

Allow this one install

Turn on Install unknown apps for the browser you are downloading with. Give it to that one browser. Do not grant it to the whole phone. Android only asks you for this once, and the app itself never asks again.

Turn the setting back off once the install has finished. It takes five seconds and it keeps every other file out of your phone.
Permission switch for installing apps from unknown sources

Download the APK file

Tap the green download button anywhere on this page and wait. The file saves to your Downloads folder. On a normal mobile connection that takes a minute or two. Keep at least 150 MB of storage free, because Android unpacks the file while it installs it.

Download progress for the PremierBet+ file

Open the file and install

Open the saved file from your notification bar or from the Downloads folder. Tap the Install button that appears at the bottom. Android then works on its own for a few seconds. Tap Open when it finishes, and the PremierBet+ icon stays on your home screen from then on.

Install confirmation screen with the app ready to open

The operator’s own wording

Premier Bet sets out the same four steps in its own words on the app pages. It says to download the PremierBet+ apk file, tap the apk file to install, then allow installation through Settings if the phone asks you to. The path it gives is Settings, then Security, then Unknown sources, then allow installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store. It closes with a line we agree with: the app is exclusive for adults and you should play responsibly.

Create your account

You sign up in the app with a phone number, and you need an ID later.

You register inside the app itself and not on this page. The form runs to four steps and needs nothing more than a working phone number, a password you can remember and your real date of birth.

Open the app and tap Register. Choose your country before you touch anything else on the form. That one choice sets your currency, your payment list and your age limit for good.

Fill in your details. Enter the phone number you actually use and pick a password you can remember. Enter your real date of birth, because it has to show you are 18, or 21 if you are in Namibia.

Confirm your phone number. Type in the code that arrives by SMS a few seconds later. Your account is live from that moment and you can look around before paying anything in.

Make your first deposit. Open the Deposit tab. Pick a method from the list your country shows. The welcome offer is tied to this first payment, so read the Bonus tab before you send it.

The sign-up form asks for
Phone number Password Date of birth Country Currency Promo code, optional

You have to pass an identity check before your first withdrawal goes out. The terms call that check KYC, and it is required under anti-money-laundering rules. Have a photo ID ready so it does not hold up your first payout.

One account covers everything the operator runs. The same login opens the app, the mobile site and the desktop site, and the balance you see is the same in all three. A bet you place in the app shows up on the website within seconds.

Claim your welcome offer

Make one deposit and the bonus arrives on its own, with no code to enter.

The welcome package has the same shape in all five countries. Only the amounts and one small detail change from one market to the next.

1. Deposit

Pay in with any method your own country supports. The offer is calculated from that first deposit. Deposits you make later in the week do not count towards it.

2. Bonus lands

The bonus lands in a separate bonus balance inside your account. Your own money stays where it is. You can still withdraw that part whenever you want to.

3. Play it through

Place the qualifying bets the Bonus tab asks for. Bonus money only turns into money you can withdraw after that.

What each country gets

Namibia100% Money Back Sports Free Bet, 50 Free Spins, 50 Free Flights, plus a second-deposit bonus. No

Zimbabwe is the only country in the group that gets 25 Free Flights instead of 50. The other four all receive the full 50, and everything else in the package reads the same. Free Flights are rounds on the Navigator crash game, not free bets on sport.

The wagering terms sit in the Bonus tab of the app and nowhere else. The operator does not publish a single multiplier for these five countries, so read that tab before you claim anything. A free bet is not cash in your hand until you have played it through.

Other promotions you will see

Bet 5 Get 1 Free hands you one free bet a week once five qualifying bets have settled. Aviator Rain drops free flights on the crash game during a set window, and the operator says over a million are given away. The Rewards Hub turns every stake into points and coins that unlock levels and small prizes.

Odds Boosts raise the price on a handful of selected matches each day. Bet Insurance can refund one losing leg of a multiple bet, up to a limit set in your country. Win Bonus adds a percentage on top of a winning accumulator, and the headline figure reaches 1,000% on the longest slips.

Malawi, Zimbabwe, Liberia and Namibia also get a section called the Betting Academy. It is a stack of how-to pages covering sport, casino, crash games, poker, virtuals, promotions and the rewards system, running to dozens of separate entries. Tanzania is the one country in this group without it.

Deposits and withdrawals

You pay in and cash out inside the app, and both jobs take four taps.

Money moves in and out through the app, on the two screens below. The list of methods you see depends entirely on the country on your account.

Paying in
1.Open the Deposit screen from your account menu.
2.Choose a method from the list your country shows.
3.Enter the amount and confirm on your phone.
4.Watch the balance update at the top of the screen.
Cashing out
1.Open the Withdraw screen from your account menu.
2.Pick the same method you used to deposit.
3.Enter the amount and send the request.
4.Wait for the check on your identity to clear.

Which methods are named in public

Malawi is the only country where the operator names its deposit channels openly on the site. There you can pay in through Airtel, TNM Mpamba, FDH Bank, National Bank of Malawi and First Capital Bank. Each of those five channels has its own page on the operator’s site with the steps written out, which is more than any other country in this group gets.

For Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Liberia and Namibia no such list is published anywhere we could read. Open the Deposit tab inside the app and your own country’s list appears there. We do not print method names we cannot point to a source for, because a wrong name sends you to the wrong counter.

Money leaves the way it came in.
The identity check comes before the first payout.
Bonus money that has not been played through is removed when you withdraw.

That last rule is written into the terms for every country in this group. If you withdraw your cash while a bonus is still unplayed, the bonus balance is simply removed. Finish the wagering first when you want to keep it, or accept the loss and take the cash.

What is inside the app

Sport, casino, crash games and lotto all run from a single shared balance.

The app opens exactly the same product you get on the website, arranged for a phone screen, with the sports list, the casino and the crash games sitting behind their own tabs. These are the parts you will use most often.

Sport. Football leads by a distance, with basketball, tennis, ice hockey and table tennis beside it. Local leagues sit in the same list as the European ones.

Live betting. You can place a bet on a match that is already under way. Prices move while you look at them. Confirm your slip quickly before the price shifts again.

Vegas and Live Vegas. Slots, table games and live dealer rooms sit in their own tab, away from the sport.

Navigator and Aviator. These are crash games, where a multiplier climbs and you cash out before it stops. Your first Navigator flight is free in Liberia.

Bet Builder. Combine several outcomes from the same match into one bet at a combined price, so a win, a scoreline and a card can all sit on a single slip.

Share Bet. Send a bet slip to a friend and they open the same selections in their own app, which saves both of you retyping a long accumulator by hand.

Cash Out. Close an open bet early and take whatever it is worth at that moment, which is useful when a match turns before the final whistle.

Jackpots and Premier6. Predict a fixed set of match results and share a prize pool with everyone else who got them right, with the pool rolling over when nobody wins it.

Rewards Hub. Points and coins build up as you bet. Challenges and levels sit in the same tab.

Live streaming. Selected matches play inside the app. You need a funded account to watch.

Virtuals and Lotto. Simulated football matches and number draws run all day. There is always a market open, whatever the time of day.

Premier Bet Zone. This is the digital version of the shop counter. Build a slip now and pay for it later.

App vs mobile site vs iPhone

Pick the app if you bet often, and stay on the site if you bet now and then.

The Android file is the fastest of the three once it is on your phone. The mobile site needs no install at all, and the iPhone route is a real App Store app rather than a shortcut.

The iPhone app is called Premier Bet Sports Betting in the store listing. Its id is 6746161759 and the publisher is GOAT & PARTNERS MALTA LIMITED. We found it listed in the Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Liberia and Namibia stores on the day we checked.

On iPhone

There is a real App Store app. No APK needed.

Search the App Store for Premier Bet Sports Betting and install it the usual way. If your own store does not show it, open Safari and save the site as a home-screen icon instead.

Open your own country page on premierbet.com using Safari, not another browser.

Tap the Share icon in the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down, choose Add to Home Screen and give the icon a short name.

Push notifications do not work through a home-screen shortcut, so you will miss alerts about your bets. Install the App Store app when you want those. The longer iPhone guide, with the full store details, sits on our iOS page.

Troubleshooting

Almost every failed install comes down to storage space or the unknown-apps switch.

Seven problems account for almost every failed install we have seen. Find yours in the first column and read across.

If none of these rows matches, delete the file and download it again from this page. A half-saved file fails in ways that look random and waste an afternoon.

Safety and permissions

The file is safe from the official source.

This is a normal Android package file, the same kind banks and telecoms in the region hand out. The risk does not come from the format itself. The risk comes from where you take the file.

The app asks for these permissions
Internet access Network state Keep the screen awake Start after a reboot Bluetooth admin

That list is short on purpose and worth comparing with other apps on your phone. The app does not ask for your contacts, your camera or your location. Nothing in it reads your messages or your photos.

Take the file from the official site or the button here. Do not use a mirror or a link sent to you in a message. Copies on mirror sites can be repacked with code the operator never wrote. One mirror we checked still serves an old package name that Premier Bet stopped using some time ago.

Warning card about downloading the file only from a trusted source

A betting account holds your money, so treat the login like a bank login. Keep the password to yourself. Never send it to anyone in a message, however official they sound. Real support will never ask you for it.

Help and contacts

Call the line for your own country, using the numbers listed below.

Each country runs its own support line with its own hours. Call the number for the country on your account. The nearest line is not always yours.

Malawi and Tanzania also publish shop addresses city by city. The Malawi list covers Lilongwe, Blantyre, Mzuzu, Zomba, Balaka and several smaller towns. The Tanzania list covers Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma and others. Zimbabwe, Liberia and Namibia have a shop page with no addresses filled in yet.

What we like and what could be better

The app itself is solid, but the paperwork behind it is thin in most countries.

Five things about this app work well in daily use. Four more are worth knowing before you spend data on the download.

What we like

One file covers all five countries with no separate build to hunt for.
It runs from Android 7.0 upwards, so older and cheaper phones are not shut out.
The permission list is short, and none of it touches contacts, camera or location.
Sport, casino, crash games and lotto all draw on the same single balance.
Support answers on a local number in every one of the five countries.

What could be better

The app is not on Google Play, so you have to install it by hand.
Three of the five countries never publish the size of their welcome bonus.
Only Malawi names its deposit channels anywhere you can read them in advance.
Licence details are published for Malawi alone, with no number even there.

Frequently asked questions

Fourteen common questions, answered plainly. Tap any one of them to open it.

Is the Premier Bet APK safe to install?

Yes, as long as you take it from the official site or from the button on this page. It is a standard Android package, the same format banks in the region use. The file asks for five permissions and none of them touch your contacts, your camera or your location.

A copy from a mirror site is a different matter, because anyone can repack a file and re-upload it. One mirror we checked still lists an old package name the operator abandoned.

Why is the app not on the Google Play Store?

Google restricts real-money betting apps across most of these markets, so operators hand out the file themselves. We looked up the package com.premierbet in all five country stores and found nothing at all. The only Premier Bet app in Play is Premier Bet Livescore Official, which shows live scores and takes no bets whatsoever.

How big is the file and what Android do I need?

The file is 56.7 MB and your phone needs Android 7.0 or newer to run it. Keep roughly 150 MB of storage free before you start, because Android unpacks the package while it installs. Most install failures we hear about are really a storage problem in disguise.

Which countries does this page cover?

This page covers Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Liberia and Namibia. A single file serves all five countries, so there is nothing country-specific to download. You choose your country once, at the moment you register inside the app.

Does this page cover Uganda?

No, and that is deliberate. In Uganda the same group trades under the name SBA, with a different app, a different package and different rules, so mixing the two would only mislead you.

How old do I have to be?

You must be at least 18 in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Liberia. In Namibia the limit is higher, at 21 years old. The date of birth you type at sign-up is checked against the limit for the country you picked, and a date that fails stops the registration there.

Is Premier Bet licensed?

Malawi is the only one of the five countries with a licence you can read about in public. The operator says it is licensed and regulated there by the Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority. Even in that case the licence number itself is not published anywhere on the site.

Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Liberia and Namibia carry no regulator name and no licence number in the operator’s own pages. Their terms only say that local law applies and that local courts settle any dispute. We would rather leave that gap visible than print a number we cannot source.

What is the biggest payout I can win from one bet?

The cap depends on the country your account sits in. Malawi limits a single bet to 500,000,000 MWK and Tanzania limits it to 600,000,000 TSH. Liberia caps a bet at 40,000,000 LRD, Zimbabwe at $50,000 and Namibia at N$1,000,000. Those figures come straight from the terms and conditions for each country.

How do I deposit money?

Open the Deposit tab inside the app and the list for your own country appears there. In Malawi the published channels are Airtel, TNM Mpamba, FDH Bank, National Bank of Malawi and First Capital Bank. For the other four countries the operator publishes no list at all, so the tab is the only honest answer we can give you.

How long does a withdrawal take?

The operator does not publish a fixed processing time for any of these countries. Money travels back through the method you deposited with. That means the speed of the channel matters as much as the operator does. Your very first payout also waits for the identity check to clear, which is why sending your documents early is worth the trouble.

What happens to my bonus if I withdraw?

Any bonus money you have not played through is removed when your real balance is withdrawn. That rule is written into the terms for every country in this group. Finish the wagering first if the bonus matters to you, or accept losing it and take your cash.

Can I use the app and the website with one account?

Yes, and there is nothing to set up for it. The app, the mobile site and the desktop site all share one login and one balance. A bet you place in the app appears on the website within seconds, and the other way round.

Is there an iPhone app?

Yes, there is a real App Store app rather than a shortcut. It is called Premier Bet Sports Betting, runs at version 1.0.2, weighs 7.1 MB and needs iOS 15.5 or newer. The publisher on the listing is GOAT & PARTNERS MALTA LIMITED, and we found it in the Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Liberia and Namibia stores.

Does the app cost anything to use?

The app is free to download and free to run for as long as you keep it. The only unavoidable cost is the mobile data that pulls down the 56.7 MB file. After that you spend nothing beyond the money you choose to stake yourself.

The install worked first time on a phone that is four years old. I had to switch on unknown apps for my browser, exactly as written here. The app opens quicker than the website on my connection, and the bet slip does not stall.

Clear steps here and none of the usual noise around them. My withdrawal came through after I sent my ID, which matches what this page says about the check. I still wish the bonus amount for Tanzania was written somewhere public.

The free bet landed on each of the first five days, exactly as the offer promised. Deposits through Airtel reach my balance instantly every time. The crash games run without stutter on a cheap phone, which was my main worry.
